New Delhi: The second Test match of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 between India and Australia is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. In this match, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first, Australia did not lose any wickets till 50 runs, but after this, the Kangaroo team lost three wickets for 91 runs.

Star spinner Ravichandran Ashwin played a key role in bringing India back into the match. Mohammed Shami gave India the first wicket by sending David Warner to the pavilion, but the real comeback in the match was due to Ashwin's spin. In the 23rd over, Australia lost the wickets of Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith on Ashwin's spinning balls. Labuschagne got LBW out to Ashwin after scoring 18 runs off 25 balls. 

After this former captain, Steve Smith came to the crease. The way Ashwin dismissed Smith, Smith himself could not believe how he got out. Smith could not understand Ashwin's ball at all and the ball took the outer edge of the bat. The ball went straight into the gloves of wicket-keeper KS Bharath. KS Bharath made no mistake and took a brilliant catch. In this way, Smith returned to the pavilion without opening the account on two balls. Till the time of writing the news, Australia's score is 227 for 6 wickets, out of which Ashwin has taken 3 wickets. At the same time, Shami got 2 and Ravindra Jadeja got one wicket. Usman Khawaja scored a maximum of 81 runs from the Kangaroo team.
