New Delhi: The second wave of corona epidemic in the country is slowly receding. Not only that, the death figures are also declining now. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the rate of recovery from corona has increased to 91.60 per cent. The weekly positivity rate is 9.04% and the daily positivity rate is 9.07%, which is less than 10% for 7 consecutive days. 1.52 lakh new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours, the lowest in the last 50 days.
According to the Health Ministry, "India has reported 1,52,734 new cases of corona virus during the last 24 hours. The total number of infected cases has gone up to 2,80,47,534 since these cases came to light. The total number of deaths has gone up to 3,29,100 after 3,128 new deaths during this period. A total of 2,38,022 new patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the total discharge to 2,56,92,342. The total number of active cases in the country is 20,26,092".
Delhi reported 946 new corona cases on Saturday, while 78 patients lost their lives during the period. Delhi's health department issued a bulletin on Sunday. According to the bulletin, delhi's death rate due to covid-19 is 1.69 per cent, while the rate of infection is continuously declining to 1.25 percent.
