India faces increased risk of 'omicrons', now 2 more infected cases received from the state

Jamnagar: The new corona variant Oficron has created a hue and cry around the world, with cases growing rapidly in India. Meanwhile, two more cases of omicron sown in Jamnagar, Gujarat have been reported. The two men are said to have come to the contact of the first patient infected with the Omicron found here. Now 3 cases of omicron shaved in Gujarat have been reported.

On the other hand, 8,503 new cases of corona infection have been registered in India in the last 24 hours. With this, 7,678 patients have beaten corona in the last 24 hours. A total of 341,05,066 patients have recovered from corona infection so far. The highest recovery rate since March 2020 is 98.36%. Speaking of active cases, 94,943 patients are being treated across the country. There are less than 1 percent active cases of total corona cases, which currently rest at 0.27%. This is the lowest since March 2020.

The daily positivity rate is 0.66 per cent, which is less than 2 per cent. This is the lowest in the last 67 days. The weekly positivity rate is 0.72 per cent, which is less than 1 per cent in the last 26 days. 65.32 investigations have been conducted in the country so far. On the other hand, 624 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours, including backlog data. Due to which the death figure has increased. On Thursday, 9,419 new corona cases were reported, with the number of patients undergoing treatment up to 94,742. In addition, 159 patients died of corona.
