New Delhi: To shock China on the economic front, the Modi government is continuously trying to curb the import of Chinese products. Now the government has curbed the import of power tillers and its components from China. They are largely imported from China. Let us tell you that the power tiller is an agricultural machine, which is used to prepare the land for farming.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has said in a notification that, 'The import policy of power tiller and its parts has been revised from free to prohibited. Explain that placing a product in the 'prohibited' or forbidden category means that the importer must obtain a license from the DGFT to import them.

Let us tell you that the power tiller is an agricultural machine, which is used to prepare the land for agriculture. Power tiller parts include the engine, transmission, chassis and rotavator. This will prevent the import of power tillers and components coming from China and will encourage its Indian manufacturers. Earlier, the Indian government had given a big blow to the neighboring country by banning 59 apps from China.
