Traffic rout diverted for 6 hours due to parade at IMA today

The traffic on the Dehradun-Vikasnagar road was completely diverted from 5 am to 11 am for the passing out parade to be held at the IMA on Saturday. Superintendent of Police Shweta Choubey said that the security was increased by sealing the entire area late at night. Many suspects have been questioned. Police duties were placed at 17 locations around the IMA.

All vehicles going from Ballupur to Premnagar will divert from the Ranganwala outpost IMA and go on the main route through Mitti Barry. Traffic coming from Premnagar will be diverted from IMA MT section gate towards Ranganwala barrier. Traffic from the barrier will go towards Ballupur Panditwadi. Heavy vehicles coming from Vikasnagar will be diverted from Dhulkot Tirahe towards Sigdiwala.

The traffic will come from Dharmawala Chowk via Shimla bypass to the city. Heavy vehicles going from Dehradun to Vikasnagar Herbatpur to Delhi will be diverted from Shimla bypass and sent towards Vikasnagar Dharmawala. All traffic going from Dehradun to Vikasnagar will be diverted from Ballupur to Balliwala, GMM road towards Shimla bypass.
