New Delhi: Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will make a statement in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday at 11 am in the matter of 'accidentally fired missiles' at Pakistan. While External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will make a statement on the situation in Ukraine at around 2:30 pm. Earlier on Friday, the Indian government had said that two days ago it had "accidentally" fired a missile that had landed in Pakistan and that the incident was "extremely regrettable" due to a technical glitch during routine maintenance.

At the same time, it was said from Pakistan that on March 9, an unarmed Indian supersonic missile had gone into Pakistani territory. Before the missile hit a cold store near Mian Channu, 275 km from Lahore, it posed a major threat to several airlines. However, there is no information about any loss of life or property in Pakistan due to the fall of the missile. Pakistan is repeatedly expressing displeasure in this matter. However, India has also ordered a Court of Inquiry.

In this case, Pakistan's PM Imran Khan had said on Sunday that Pakistan could have responded to India if the Indian missile fell in its Punjab province, but it showed restraint. For the first time in his reaction on this matter, Imran Khan had said that, 'We could have responded after the Indian missile fell in Mian Channu, but we showed restraint'.
