Country's intelligence agencies on high alert, terror groups are plotting major attack

New Delhi: The country's intelligence agencies are on high alert these days. According to intelligence inputs, several major terror groups are on the verge of a terrorist attack on the country. The Pak intelligence agency is the ISI, which is supporting them. In this regard, the Indian intelligence agencies have already rubbed the government with all these highly sensitive intelligence inputs so that the destructive forces can be controlled in a timely manner.

A confidential report released by the Intelligence Bureau headquarters on August 9 mentions that the jihadi terror groups, backed by the Pak intelligence agency ISI, are trying to carry out major terrorist incidents in and outside Jammu and Kashmir. Intelligence units and police headquarters of the concerned states have been cautioned in this regard. Sources say the Islamic State and Pak-backed fundamentalist groups may try to target crowds at large festivals like Eid.

Intelligence agencies are also not denying that the Pak intelligence agency and The Islamic State-backed terror groups may also target some other important sites, including bus stations, railway stations, airports (transport networks). According to top sources in the country's intelligence agencies, even though the ISI has not been able to create unrest in India for a long time, it has been badly hit after Section 370 was removed from Kashmir.

There are also reports of some Taliban-backed slipping modules in India. Not long ago, the NIA had conducted raids in some other States, including Kerala. The wires of the serial bomb blasts in Sri Lanka were also linked to Kerala. Keeping the security arrangements in check across the country on the 15th of August is nothing short of a challenge for the security agencies.
