Srinagar: The controversy over the hijab in Karnataka is not taking the name of stopping. The matter has now moved out of the state and reached Jammu and Kashmir. In fact, Aroosa Parvez, a class 12 topper from Srinagar, is being trolled by fundamentalists for not wearing 'hijab.' However, she too has given a befitting reply to the fundamentalists. Aroosa said she follows Islamic principles and does not need to wear a hijab to prove herself a good Muslim.

Let us know that Aroosa had topped the board exam of the 12th class in the science stream. But some fanatics started trolling her online for not wearing the 'hijab.' At this, Aroosa said that I believe in Allah. I follow Islamic principles and I don't have to wear a hijab to prove myself a good Muslim. She said that she is very upset with online trolling. The reason for my trouble is that my parents are very worried after these comments on social media.

Let us know that the district administration had honoured Aroosa, the topper of the science stream in the class 12 board examination on Friday. Aroosa had secured 499 marks out of 500 in the science stream. Since Saturday morning, radicals have spewed toxins against Aroosa Parvez on social media. While on the one hand, some social media users were congratulating her, on the other hand, some people were criticizing her for not wearing the hijab and teaching her Islamic fundamentals.
