New Delhi: With the growing age, England fast bowler James Anderson is making such records, which will be very difficult for other bowlers to break. On the fourth day of the second Test of the ongoing three-match series between England and New Zealand, Anderson had touched the 650-wicket mark in Test cricket as soon as he dismissed Tom Latham. He became the first fast bowler in the world to do so.

With this, Anderson has another big record to his name. Anderson has become only the second cricketer in the world to play 100 Test matches after crossing the age of 30. Former England wicketkeeper-batsman Alec Stewart has played the most 107 Test matches since crossing the age of 30, while this was Anderson's 100th Test match. Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid are third on the list with 95-95 Tests from the order. While former Australia captain Steve Waugh has played 92 Test matches since turning 30.

Anderson's inclusion in this list is also special because he is a fast bowler. Even at the age of 39, he remains an example for young fast bowlers. The way Anderson is bowling, it looks like he will continue to play Test cricket for at least two-three years to come. James Anderson will now have a chance to overtake Alec Stewart to set a world record in this case.
