Srinagar: The administration of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has dismissed six of its employees for having link to terrorists and working as overground workers. To investigate and recommend cases under Article 311(2)(c) of the Constitution of India, the Designated Committee in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir recommended the dismissal of 6 employees from government service for having terrorist relations and acting as OGW. 6 government employees who have been dismissed from service Among them is Professor Hamid Wani of Anantnag in Kashmir valley. Wani is alleged to have been working as district commander of the terror outfit Allah Tiger before joining the job.

Wani is also accused of being one of the face in Kashmir for anti-national activities after Burhan Wani was gunned down in 2016. At the same time, Zafar Hussain Bhatt of Kishtwar district of Jammu has also been recommended for dismissal from government service.
