Srinagar: The Pakistani Army is not harping on the LoC with its nefarious acts. The Pak Army fired heavily in the Mendhar sector of Poonch district, violating the ceasefire, targeting Indian posts and residential areas. At the same time, the Indian Army is also giving a befitting reply to this Pakistani act.

Earlier on Wednesday night, a group of 6 to 8 militants tried to infiltrate the Tarkundi area of Manjakot sector of Rajori. The Pakistani army also attempted to cover up the gang of terrorists by firing. The Indian Army, without losing time, started firing on them and forced them to return.

Jammu and Kashmir police had arrested 5 terrorists of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed, thwarting a big terror conspiracy. These terrorists were planning to carry out a suicide attack on Republic Day. According to information from the sources, the arrested terrorists were in the attack on 26 January to attack with grenades. The army had recovered arms and ammunition from the possession of the terrorists. Their terrorists were identified as Ejaz Ahmed Sheikh, Omar Hameed Sheikh, Imtiaz Ahmed Chikla, Sahil Farooq Gojri and Naseer Ahmed Mir.
