Nanded:A tragic incident is coming to light from Nanded district of Maha Rashtra (Maharashtra) in which a mother killed her newborn daughter and 2-year-old son in a village and burnt the bodies in a field. The Maharashtra Police has reported the case on Friday. Police said the culprit, Dhurpada Bai Ganpat Nimalwad (30), along with her mother and brother, burnt the bodies of the children. A case has been registered against the three criminals in this connection.
A police officer said that the culprit woman, Dhurpada Bai, lives in Pandurna village of Bhokar taluka, where she committed the murders on May 31 and June 1. The convicted woman first strangled her newborn daughter, Anusuya, who was just 4 months old, to death. The next day he killed his son Datta. Police say that the son was hungry and was asking his mother for food, after which, he started crying loudly. In such a situation, mother Dhurpada Bai also strangled him to death.
The culprit woman, Dhurpada Bai, burnt the bodies of her daughter and son in the field. His mother Kondabai Rajmod and brother Madhav Rajmod, both residents of Mukhed taluka, had assisted in this work. The police have also arrested both of them as criminals. The officer said that a case has been registered against the three criminals under relevant sections of the IPC.
