Bangalore: A case of suicide by a girl by consuming poison has come to light in Karnataka, due to which a ruckus has started. Hindu organizations have alleged that this matter is of 'love jihad'. It is claimed that the accused was already married and he along with his wife was blackmailing the victim.

The name of the girl who committed suicide has been given as Shilpa Devadika. She lived in Kundapura, Udupi. Two days ago on Wednesday, the girl committed suicide by consuming rat poison. Aziz (age 32 years) is accused in this case. On the other hand, the family members of the victim alleged that the married lover was pressurizing Shilpa, due to which she was under stress.

Shilpa's family members alleged that Aziz was in a relationship with her while she was already married. Aziz also claimed to have had some obscene pictures of Shilpa in his possession. By showing them, Aziz and his wife used to blackmail Shilpa. The family said Aziz was pressurising Shilpa to marry him for a second time. Failing to do so, she was threatened to put her picture on social media. Shilpa was not ready for this wedding, so she consumed poison and committed suicide.
