Palakkad: In Kerala's Palakkad district, a 27-year-old youth was attacked with a sharp weapon and killed. The name of the deceased is said to be Anish, he has married three months ago. According to the police, this case seems to be of honour killing. It is alleged that Anish was killed by his father-in-law and his wife's uncle together. This whole incident is from Thenkurusi. The police have arrested his wife's father Prabhukumar and uncle Suresh on the charge of killing Anish.
According to the police, Anish was living in a relationship with a girl for a long time. The girl belongs to a rich family. Both got married three months ago, while the parents of the girl were constantly opposing her marriage. Due to this, a dispute was going on between the two sides for the last several days. After which the police interfered in this matter and the girl's parents agreed. However, it seems that the boy's family members were being threatened even further. After which Anish was returning home from somewhere on Friday when he was attacked with a sharp weapon. Later, Anish died while going to the hospital.
Anish's wife's father Prabhukumar and uncle Suresh are currently taken into custody by the police. According to the police, eyewitnesses have also identified Prabhukumar and uncle Suresh as the attackers.
