In an unfortunate and shocking turn of events, actor Kravmaga Sreeram of Sillu Karuppatti fame passed away today. Sreeram is a Krav Maga self defence form expert, and as per reports he fell from the terrace of his house while practicing the Kravmaga.

According to a report, the sixty-year-old actor attempted to climb up the staircase of an under-construction building and fell down while doing so. When his family found him lying unconscious in a pool of blood, they called for ambulance service. However, he was reportedly declared dead by the paramedics in the ambulance. The report further added that  the actor was practicing the self-defense Krav Maga when the accident happened.

The late actor took up Krav Maga, the self-defence art developed by Israeli defence forces, at the age of 45, and soon became a sought-after instructor in the city. He even taught Krav Maga to the city's police force, serving as a police instructor for Krav Maga.  He had also trained actors like Anurag Kashyap and Amala Paul for their films Imaikkaa Nodigal and Adho Andha Paravai Pola , respectively.

Sillu Karuppatti was an anthology film which had Sree Ram sharing screen space with dancer and actress Leela Samson and his performance was appreciated. Kravmaga Sreeram had also trained actress Amala Paul for the movie Adho Andha Paravai Pola. We at Indiaglitz express condolences to Kravmaga Sreeram’s family.
