Lakhimpur violence: 'Minister Ajay Mishra should be sacked and arrested..', SKM demand"

New Delhi: After the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Tuesday termed the Lakhimpur Kheri violence during the farmers' agitation as a well-planned conspiracy to murder, the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) asked the Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni  has been demanded to be sacked and arrested.

 

The United Kisan Morcha has taken cognizance of the SIT's investigation in the Lakhimpur Kheri murder case, where the SIT has framed serious charges against 13 accused related to the case, including the name of Ashish Mishra Teni, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni. Let us inform that, earlier the CJM court had convicted all the 13 accused including Ashish Mishra for 307 attempt to murder, 326 causing hurt with dangerous weapon, 34 committing the crime of one opinion, and 3/25/30 of the Arms Act i.e. licensee licence. Allegations of use have been accepted as true. The officer probing the matter had requested the CJM court to impose stricter sections. Now the court has given its approval.

The investigating officer had petitioned for removal of sections 338 of culpable homicide not amounting to murder (304A), negligent driving, 279 and causing grievous hurt on all the accused, including Ashish Mishra. Along with this, the investigating officer on Ashish Mishra had sought permission to impose section 307 of attempt to murder, section 326 of causing hurt by dangerous weapon, 34, and 3/25 arms act by several people with the same purpose.
