Lakhisarai: Like Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's film 'Special 26' the Income Tax Department has seen a fake raid in Lakhisarai in Bihar. In fact, seven vicious robbers, who came to the house of a sand contractor here as income tax department officials, fled with rs 25 lakh and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. The case pertains to Punjab National Bank street under Kabaiya police station area. All these people had come to the house of sand contractor Sanjay Kumar Singh on the pretext of investigating.

The same family members, on suspicion, informed the police about it, after which the Kabaiya police reached the spot and started an investigation. The entire case has been captured in the CCTV installed in the house. Police are looking at the CCTV footage and identifying the culprits. It is being said that on Monday afternoon, five men and two women had reached the house of sand contractor Sanjay Kumar Singh in a Scorpio car. As soon as he arrived, he started the investigation, saying that there were weapons in the house.  

When the same family members opposed it, they took away rs 25 lakh cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees kept in it, citing the Income Tax Department officer, and took away the keys of the cupboard from them and took away it. At the same time, SDPO Ranjan Kumar said that as soon as the case was reported in The Kawaiya police station area, the police immediately reached the spot. At present, on the basis of CCTV footage in the house, the number of the car is being searched and further investigation is being done.
