There is now one week left in voting for the first round of Bihar assembly election. Earlier on Wednesday, Lok Janshakti Party chief Chirag Paswan released his party's vision document. He said that millions of people have given their input in it, father Ram Vilas Paswan himself has got it prepared while staying in the hospital.
Chirag said, "I want to do positive politics, I am young and I have travelled the world. We have included every issue in our vision document, which the people of Bihar grapple with". He handed over the first copy of his party's vision document to his mother. After the death of his father Ram Vilas Paswan, Chirag will start campaigning for the first time from today.
This Lok Janshakti Party is alone this time in the electoral arena and has left the NDA. Opposing Nitish Kumar, Chirag took a different route from the NDA and single-handedly jumped into the electoral fray. LJP has fielded its candidates against JDU. Apart from this, they are facing competition with BJP in some seats. However, Chirag Paswan has been consistently saying that the government should be formed by the BJP and ultimately the BJP-LJP will form the government.
