Mumbai: The government is upset in view of the increasing number of corona infected patients. The discussion of closing schools-colleges and increasing the ban on local trains is happening once again. State Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said to take a decision about all this in a day or two. He said that Mamata Banerjee has imposed a lockdown due to the increase in the virus in West Bengal. Night curfew or lockdown has been imposed in many states of the country, but it is not effective.
On Monday, Pawar told the media in Satara that if the corona continues to grow like this, then the state government will have to take strict decisions. The decisions taken by the CM in this regard will be implemented in all parts of the state. People remove face masks while eating, drinking tea etc. come in front of each other. Due to this the corona virus is increasing rapidly. Therefore, there is a need for some effective way to avoid it. He told that the leaders are also required to follow the rules. If we will ignore the rules, then there is no point in urging others to follow the rules.
In view of the rising figures in Mumbai, Vijay Wadettiwar has indicated to take tough decisions soon regarding the local service. CM is serious about the crowd of Mumbai local. He talked about imposing a mini-lockdown like West Bengal. He told that a decision has been taken to close schools and colleges in West Bengal. Here too, due to the rapid increase in Corona and Omicron variants, similar situations are arising. Discussions have also taken place with CM about this. He will take the final decision. An alternative could be that by declaring some places in the state as containment zones, entry ban should be imposed there. Crowd should be strictly controlled.
