Jabalpur: Another incident of a robber bride has come to light in Jabalpur city of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, the girl, who described herself as an orphan, got married for a fake wedding in the temple present in the court premises and dodged the groom and fled with the jewellery and cash. Within a few moments, the advocates, who became active in this development, caught the alleged aunt who came with the robber bride and handed her over to the police. After that, the criminal bride also reached the police station. The police have arrested both of them.

According to the same Omati police station in-charge SPS Baghel, the girl named Renu alias Sangita Ahirwar, a resident of Bhantalaiya, had come to marry Seoni resident Dashrath Singh Rajput at the temple present in the district court. It is being said that before the court marriage, she had proposed marriage in the temple. Renu, along with her sister-in-law Archana Ahirwar, who lives in Paraswara, had made sure to marry the groom Dashrath with 35,000 paise and jewellery, etc. The groom Dashrath, who arrived with the family members, performed the wedding ceremony and was ready to leave, when Renu pointed out the discomfort in sitting in the car and got down and fled by sitting in her lover's bike standing nearby. The development created a stir and Omti TI SPS Baghel also reached the spot. Earlier, as soon as the bride escaped, some advocates had caught the woman who came with Renu.

In the same complaint to the police, it was said that the robber bride Renu also took jewellery worth about 2.5 lakh rupees and 50 thousand rupees in cash with her. After the bride and her relatives suddenly escaped, the groom and his relatives immediately returned to the court premises, where the bride's alleged aunt Archana Barman was surrounded by advocates. On receiving the complaint, The Omti police arrived and the woman was caught and brought to the police station. The case is now being investigated by the police.
