Lucknow: M. Devraj, Managing Director of Power Corporation, while talking to the media has told that the payment of electricity bill in easy instalments has started from Monday. Electricity consumers in the state are taking advantage of the easy instalment scheme. Consumers are paying in instalments. The plan is to run till 31 December.

Devraj has told that the instalments will be divided by Rs 1500. Consumers who take advantage of the scheme will have to deposit a minimum amount of 1500. Rural consumers living in the village are being given more benefit of the scheme, they will also be able to deposit the deposit amount in 24 instalments. Similarly, consumers living in the city will be able to pay their amount up to 12 installments.

He has told that toll-free number 1912 has been issued for the consumers who want to get information about the scheme. Along with this, they can also get information about it at the nearby power office. Apart from this, consumers can also meet the managing directors of Purvanchal, Paschimanchal, Madhyanchal and Dakshinchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam for any other problems.
