Indore: A case of rape of a minor girl student by a coaching operator in Madhya Pradesh's Betul district has come to light. At the same time, after the rape, the victim became pregnant, and there has also been a conversation about her abortion among the family members of the accused. The case pertains to the Amla police station area where the 15-year-old minor girl used to go to study in a coaching centre. Prakash Bhojkar, the same coaching centre operator, raped the girl on October 16, 21.

After this, the victim was threatened, due to which she did not lodge a complaint with the police. During this time, the minor victim became pregnant, and the parents of the accused brought the victim to Karuna hospital, a private hospital in Betul, and aborted her on March 22. An unidentified person called up Betul Superintendent of Police Simala Prasad about the matter and informed him. Following this, the SP sent a police team to the victim's house and on March 26, a case of Section 376 was registered against the accused at Amla police station. The accused was arrested on Wednesday.

Investigations revealed that the parents of the accused brought the victim to a private hospital in Betul and aborted her. The police team reached Karuna Hospital on Wednesday evening. After scanning the documents related to the admission of the minor, it was found that the minor's abortion was done by Vandana Kapse, the woman doctor at the hospital. A case under Section 315 of foeticide was also registered against her and arrested. The parents of the accused coaching operator Prakash Bhojkar have also been arrested in the case.
