Bhopal: In Madhya Pradesh, lockdown has been imposed across the state due to rising corona cases but now that cases are coming down, the government has taken the first step towards lockdown. Last Wednesday, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave relief to the people of the state and said, "In districts where the positivity rate is below 5%, the corona curfew will be gradually lifted after May 17. Yes, in a recent statement, CM said, "It is determined by international norms that corona infection can be controlled at that place if the positivity rate of a place is below 5%. ''
You all must be aware that at present, the positivity rate of Korana in Madhya Pradesh is up to 27% and it may take a long time to come down to below 5% in the entire State. But in the meantime, CM Shivraj Singh has made it clear that corona curfew will not be opened even after May 17 in districts where the positivity rate is more than 5%. Madhya Pradesh has come 15th among the major states of the country in terms of corona infection. You must be aware that the second wave of corona has affected 4 major cities of the state the most and the positivity rate is still very high here. Let me tell you that 17% in Indore, 22% in Bhopal, 23% in Gwalior and 18% in Jabalpur.
