Indore: A sensational case of murder of a girl with a sharp weapon on a Narmada Express train from Indore to Bilaspur has come to light. The incident became a sensation after the murder, after which the train was stopped at Sehore station at 9 pm on Tuesday and the body of the girl was unloaded and kept in a local hospital for postmortem.
According to reports, 21-year-old Muskan Hada from Indore was on her way to Bhopal from Indore to her brother, but the unidentified accused slit the girl's throat in a moving train and fled. Passengers reported the incident at Sehore station after which the station and Mandi police reached and started investigation. Giving details of the case, Superintendent of Police SS Chauhan said that the incident took place in the sleeper coach of Narmada Express from Indore to Bilaspur.
She died reaching Sehore station. The girl's father is in jail for a crime. The girl was trying to bail them out. The incident has raised questions about the safety of those travelling between Indore and Bhopal as a large number of people travel in trains running between Bhopal and Indore every day.
