Bhopal: Due to the global epidemic coronavirus, the scarcity of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits has been spread across the country. Because the demand for the safety of doctors and nurses engaged in the treatment of corona infection has increased. In order to ensure that there is no shortage of PPE kits in the state of Madhya Pradesh, the Shivraj government of the state had ordered to make 1 lakh 50 thousand kits.

However, so far only 50 thousand kits have been supplied in the entire state. In the beginning of the coronavirus, due to the absence of PPE kits in the state, doctors and nurses were wearing surgery kits. Due to which more than 40 doctors and nurses in Indore fell victim to Corona. Two of these doctors have also died.

Seeing the increased risk of corona infection on doctors, the Madhya Pradesh government gave the responsibility of preparing PPE kits to Industrial Development Corporation Managing Director Kumar Purushottam. Purshottam started manufacturing these kits after talking to 5 companies. Although earlier only 2000 kits were being made per day, but now up to 7,000 kits are being made per day.
