In the prerogative of watching the main character, our eyes often elude seeing the supporting ones. But, exceptions are everywhere and they grab your attention irrespective of their screen time. Mahadev Singh Lakhawat is one such immensely talented actor. And his acting finesse is seen yet again in the leading web series, Duranga.
 
Duranga has not only caused waves in the OTT space but is also crashing the internet with appreciative comments. Mahadev Lakhawat has essayed the character of Dhiraj Kumar, whose murder mystery is being solved in the entire series. Though Mahadev played a recurring character, he made sure to leave an impact on the viewers every time he was on screen.
 
Speaking of Duranga, Mahadev Lakhawat said, "I'm blessed to be a part of this excellent piece. Moreover, I'm grateful to the directors, Aijaz Khan sir and Pradeep Sarkar sir, for trusting me and Kavish Sinha for gracing me with this opportunity." While sharing his experience of working on the sets of the series, Mahadev said, "I had a memorable time here and admired working with everybody, especially Gulshan Devaiah. He is an amazing actor and a truly humble person. We had a good time together and now share a strong bond."
 
Mahadev Lakhawat is precisely a director's actor. Since he hails from Rajasthan, portraying Dhiraj Kumar as a typical Bihar man in Mumbai wasn't very lenient on him. But the gravity and assiduity with which he slipped into the character are praiseworthy. He spent his time understanding the cultural background of the character. Moreover, he tried to uplift the stereotyped image and accent that are otherwise shown while illustrating a clique of north Indian men.
 
Mahadev Lakhawat has stunned us again with his awesomesauce skills. The cast of the series also includes Gulshan Devaiah, Drashti Dhami, Abhijeet Khandkekar, Rajesh Khattar, Divya Sheth and more. While remake projects aren't always impactful, thankfully Duranga has done complete justice to its original version.
 
Mahadev Lakhawat is a trained theatre actor and has been to the National School of Drama. But he has also studied film acting under the expertise of adept individuals. The actor has dedicated his heart and years to the theatre. He has done innumerable shows and will keep performing on stage. Mahadev has a slew of upcoming projects that include Amazon Prime's Mumbai Meri Jaan, Netflix's Kaala Paani, and films like Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan and Sector 36.
