Indore: A minor girl was allegedly raped on the pretext of marriage in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district, police said on Sunday. When the victim resisted, the culprit stabbed her and injured her. On the complaint of the minor victim, the police have arrested the culprit and are investigating the case.  

On the complaint of the victim, the police registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested the culprit. It is being told that the culprit had an affair with the victim. He had physical relations with her several times on the pretext of marriage. In her complaint, the minor told the police that when she resisted, the culprit stabbed her and injured her. It is being said that the criminal had befriended the minor two years ago. The two started walking around. The victim said that in September 2021, the accused called the girl several times to his house on old IDA Multi and raped her. Then every time he kept promising to get married. At the same time, he said that do not tell anyone, otherwise you will be defamed. Now you are young, as soon as he gets the money, then we both will get married.  

On May 28, at around 10 am, the accused called the minor to New Road in front of Bhuri Tekri Aravali complex and started forcing her to have physical relations. When she refused, he stabbed her and injured her. DCP Abhishek Anand said that the accused raped the minor several times on the pretext of marriage. When the teenager resisted, the culprit tried to kill her by stabbing her. The culprit has been arrested and the victim is being counselled.
