In a shocking case, the police filed a case against the accused who tried to rape a minor student of ninth at the point of knife and raped her in different cities for three consecutive years and tried to burn her by acid.

As per information received in this case, the acid victim's mother told the police in the Civil Hospital Rajpura that, "In April-2017, when her daughter was 14 years old and was getting admission in class IX, a boy Manjeet who was in Rajpura Lived near aunt, kept harassing her and kept threatening to kill her and me. A few days later our girl went missing. After much searching, when she was not found, she lodged a missing report with the City Police. After about a year, it was learned that he had taken the daughter to Guwahati, Assam, where she was kept hostage and raped. We came to know about this when the girl gave all the information by calling and weepingly told her to take it away. When the accused Manjeet came to know that the girl had given all the information to her family members, he used to take her to different cities and beat her and rape her. ''

With this, Parita's mother told that, "Sometime ago in Dhuri village of Dhuri, where Manjeet's parents live. The accused brought the girl there and started keeping her tied up so that she does not run away, but meanwhile, the daughter came out from the clutches of accused Manjit to Rajpura on 11 December. When Manjeet came to know, he too came to Rajpura and started threatening at the point of the knife, then the neighbors immediately called the police. On this, the accused escaped. "Now in this case, the police has started an investigation by taking the case strictly.
