BENGALURU: In a shocking incident, a man attacked his married lover for declining to marry him immediately. The Kumaraswamy Layout police have initiated a hunt for the accused.

This is the third acid assault in Bengaluru in the previous two months, sparking widespread panic, anxiety, and fury. According to police, the perpetrator, in this case, is the victim's former lover.

On Friday, the suspects abducted the woman while she was walking from Kumaraswamy Layout towards J.P. Nagar.  Ahmad from Gowripalya has been named as the suspect.

Ahmad and the victim were in love, according to the police. However, the woman went on to marry someone else. The victim had an unmarried daughter.  The accused, on the other hand, had contacted the victim and obtained her approval for the remarriage. He was instructed to wait for a while by the woman.

Ahmad compelled her to marry him right away and had numerous arguments with her.

Ahmad who came with a bottle of acid had intercepted her while she was walking and poured acid on her near Sarakki Junction in Bengaluru. After the incident, Ahmad managed to flee the site.
