Bengaluru: Mayor M Gautamkumar on Wednesday, visited the Corona Command Center set up in Dasarahalli division of the Greater Bangalore Municipal Corporation to take notice of the situation arising out of the corona infection in the division. Narasimhamurthy, co-commissioner of Dasarahalli division was present on this occasion. After that Mayor Gautamkumar visited the Corona Command Center located in Rajarajeshwari Nagar.

On this occasion, Rajrajeshwari Nagar co-commissioner Jagdish and Chief Engineer Vijaykumar informed the Mayor the number of corona patients, the number of patients receiving treatment, the tests being done everyday, the data of the container areas, the medical facilities present in the division.

Apart from this, the Madikeri district administration has decided to lift the ban on lodging in the district's lodge, hotel for tourists in Kodagu area. The tourism area is relieved by this decision. However, the restrictions will remain unchanged for tourist areas like Abbe waterfall, Raja seat, Erup waterfall. It is noteworthy that to control the infection of Coronavirus, the movement of tourists in the district was banned for the last 5 months under the guidelines of the Central and State Government. According to the order of the district administration, tourists will be able to use the facility of home stay in the houses registered in the district. On the other hand, the Mysuru district administration has also decided to lift the ban on the movement of tourists in Heggaddevankot (HD quota) and surrounding areas. According to District Officer Abhiram Ji Shankar, the tourist areas here will now be open for tourists.
