Bihar shopkeeper publicly shot dead, accused absconding

Patna: Despite all the claims of good governance in Bihar, criminals are becoming unruly and committing criminal offenses in broad daylight. One of its hallmarks has again come from the Motihari district of the state. A case of shoot dead of a drug dealer in Manjhar village under the Turkaulia police station area of the district has come to light on Wednesday.

The deceased is Vivek Kumar a shopkeeper, son of Shri Bhagwan Singh of Manjhar village. After shooting the criminals managed to escape from the spot. The shooter has been identified as Golu Kumar, son of Brijkishore Singh of the same village. The cause of the incident is said to be a property dispute. The incident is said to be of the land of Golu behind Vivek's house. There was a dispute on the same land. This is said to be a minor dispute of one or two feet of land.

On receiving the information, trainee DSP Sunil Kumar Singh along with the police force has started giving a tip-off to nab the culprit. He has assured the weeping family members to nab the culprit immediately. The house was mourned after the incident. Police have seized the body of the deceased and sent him to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. There is a commotion in the village.
