New Delhi: In a horrific incident, a sixty-year old neighbour raped a three-year-old continuously over past week in southeast Delhi's Amar Colony.

The incident came into light on Wednesday, as the girl’s mother filed a case against the accused, who was arrested late at night.

The father of minor employed at a mass communication institute and both the victim's family and the accused live in the same building as occupant. Minor complained of pain in her private parts on Wednesday morning.

Little girl alleged to her mother that,” uncle on the second floor called her to his house and sexually abused her.”

Then the father of the girl informed by her mother about the incident, after that the duo approached the police. It has been confirmed by the medical examination that the minor was raped several times.

Three year old told to police that, “the elderly man used to tempt her to his room by promising her sweets and chips and sexually abuse her.”

An investigation is underway on the matter and the police is questioning the accused. An FIR under IPC Section 376 and POCSO Act was lodged at Amar Colony police station against the accused.
