On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's move to abolish 500 and 1000 rupee notes starting midnight came as a real shocker for the large population.

With people going crazy on social media right from humorous messages to really some upsetting ones, the long wait at the ATM's too created a great deal of unrest and anxiety. This short sudden notice has created a lot of inconvenience to the people at large.

Though the move seems to be a positive one to eradicate the so called "Black Buck", it comes with a lot of rules and restrictions too!Right from the banks being closed to withdrawal limits of cash up to only 2000 per card per day for ATM withdrawals and 10,000 per day on bank withdrawals.

Moreover, this move taken right at the start of the celebration season of weddings, Christmas and New Year will surely make people go "bonkers".

Exceptions are given for the next 72 hours for hospitals, crematoriums, burial grounds, air, bus, and rail travel though.

According to Mr Modi, "Banks will be closed tomorrow. It will cause some hardship to you. Let us ignore these hardships. In country's history, there comes a moment when people want to participate in the nation building and reconstruction. Very few such moments come in life."

He goes on to add, "Terrorism is a frightening thing. But have you ever thought about how these terrorists get their money?"

So let's wait and watch where this move takes us!
