Hyderabad: It has been raining heavily in Hyderabad. So far, 60 people have died due to rains in Hyderabad. There were heavy rains for two to three consecutive days and many areas are still submerged in water. Recently, the Met department has said that there may be heavy rains in the coming two-three days.

Now the administration has been in readiness after getting this news. Many areas in the old city are flooded with water so far and police, rescue teams, and municipal staff are engaged in relief operations. Six persons including two children were reported to have died due to rain last Saturday. In addition, a number of bodies were also recovered on Tuesday and Wednesday last week. Out of these bodies, a body swayed away with the car was also removed. This is not the first time, but in Hyderabad last week, such rains were seen after nearly a century.

In Hyderabad and adjoining areas, 20 cm to 32 cm rainfall was recorded in a day. The warning is still continuing. According to reports, the rainfall that occurred last week has caused an estimated loss of 6,000 crores to the state. Now, people are worried and troubled by the rain.
