Bhubaneshwar: The incident of curality with a female elephant in Kerala is not too old yet that a similar incident which has shaken humanity has come up in Odisha. The case of poisoning and killing more than 40 stray dogs has come to light in Cuttack district of Odisha. The police have registered a case against two people of the village on the complaint of the sarpanch regarding the incident that took place in the expensive area under the Chowdhwar police station in Cuttack district. Police have started investigation. Both the accused are said to be absconding only after committing the crime.

According to the villagers, Brahmanand Malik's goat was bitten by a dog. He was furious since this incident. He, along with Bharat Malik, made a dreadful plan to kill all the dogs of the village. It is alleged that both of them combined poison in pieces of meat and gave it to the dogs of the village. This led to the painful death of more than 40 dogs of the village. After executing this incident, Brahmanand and Bharat Malik absconded. The sarpanch of the village has given a complaint against both of them. Now the police is investigating the matter.

Let us tell you that the incident of throwing a dog in deep water to make a Tiktok video was also come to light. After this video went viral, the organization working for animal rights, taking it seriously, demanded action.
