Bhopal: 9 days after the expansion of the cabinet by the Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh, the departments will now be divided. 28 ministers of the Shivraj government will be given the assignment on July 12 ie today. The bifurcation of the ministry was delayed due to a split in the BJP. On the delay in the division of the ministry, CM Shivraj said, "I will divide all the departments of the ministry on Sunday."

After the cabinet expansion, CM Shivraj Chauhan came to Delhi on July 2 and met the high command of the BJP. CM Shivraj Chauhan churned out the portfolios of the ministry in Delhi. During this meeting, there was a discussion on which department should be given in the cabinet to the MLAs close to Jyotiraditya Scindia who came to BJP from Congress. Of the 28 ministers, at least 12 are said to be close to Jyotiraditya. There is resentment among BJP MLAs for their involvement in the cabinet.

Shivraj Singh Chauhan was sworn in as CM on March 23 after the Congress's Kamal Nath government fell in Madhya Pradesh. After this, the cabinet was expanded in early July. In this, 28 ministers were sworn in, which includes 20 cabinet ministers and 8 ministers of state.
