National Handloom Day 2020: Handloom or Handicrafts Committee Bharatpur (Sidhi) clothing is widely appreciated even in India and abroad. Many women and men have been showing their skill for years. They run their own house with the help of this. Many prominent people have praised their work. Whereas, India is celebrating National Handloom Day today.

According to the information received, 150 trained women and men weavers work in this committee. The annual turnover here has been estimated Rs 49 lakhs in the year 2018-19. Whereas in 2019-20, the turnover here has been estimated to be around thirty lakh rupees. This committee was started in the year 2005 and today after 15 years its fame has reached abroad. The company is touching new heights with each passing day.

When Corona knocked around the world and masks became necessary for everyone, in that case, the employees made masks. The demand for masks had increased so much that employees started working day and night. However, the committee has also had to cope with the economic crisis.

Handmade Kurtas, Pyjamas, Shirts, Handkerchiefs, Gamchas, carpets were in great demand throughout the year, but during the Corona period, it has declined to a large extent. This committee participates in handloom fairs organized in Madhya Pradesh's Sidhi, Rewa, Bhopal including Delhi, Agra in Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur and Patna in Bihar and the capital of all the states. In the year 2007, the clothes made by this committee were also exported to America. Some traders also come here and buy clothes.
