Amritsar: The ongoing controversy between CM Amarinder Singh and Cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu in the Punjab government is not fading. On Thursday, Amarinder had replaced Sidhu's department. After which, angry Sidhu has reached Delhi to meet the high command of the party with his appeal. Navjot Singh Sidhu could meet the national president of the Congress party in this regard. However, Sidhu has not met with Rahul Gandhi, as Rahul has arrived in Kerala at this moment. He can return to Delhi after 12 noon Sunday.

Only after meeting Rahul Gandhi, it will be possible to decide on what turn the dispute between Amarinder Singh and Sidhu would take. Remarkably, even last week, Sidhu had arrived in Delhi to meet Rahul, but even after waiting for two days, Rahul Gandhi had not given him the moment to meet him. As per the media reports, sources in the party high command revealed that Sidhu has also submitted a number of documents with an application to meet Rahul Gandhi as soon as he reaches Delhi.

On the other hand, the report of the entire case was handed over to the Apex command from Punjab. Asha Kumari, in-Charge of Punjab Affairs, says that currently, Sidhu has not held talks with him. He is not aware of the motive for which Sidhu now wants to meet the party president. But it is clear that Captain Amarinder Singh has decided to change the portfolios of the ministers by taking the party high command into confidence. Now, there will be no change. Whatever the party has decided, it has taken for the betterment of Punjab.
