Raipur: In Naxal-affected district Narayanpur of Chhattisgarh, Naxalites suddenly opened fire on the soldiers guarding the police camp on Monday, in which a soldier of the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces, martyred. On giving information, the police officer has told that after the incident other soldiers reached the spot, by then the Naxalites had fled from there.
While giving information in this regard, Inspector General of Police of Bastar Region, Sundarraj P has told that Naxalites opened fire on the soldiers guarding the camp of Kademeta village under the small Dongar police station area of Narayanpur district. Jitendra Bakde died in this firing. Sundararaj told that by the time the soldiers could recover or retaliate, the Naxalites had escaped from the scene by executing the incident.
While giving information about the case to the Inspector General of Police of the Bastar region, it has been told that so far information has been received that a small working group of Naxalites has carried out this incident. A search operation has been started against Naxalites in the area. Officials have said that the attack took place suddenly, due to which the soldiers could not get a chance to handle and a soldier was killed in the shootout.
