New Delhi: Corona vaccination drive is being carried out on a war footing in the country. More than 81 crore vaccine supplements have been given so far. This was informed by the Union Health Ministry today i.e. More than 81 crore vaccine supplements are said to have been administered in India so far. According to official data, more than 85.68 lakh corona vaccine doses were administered across the country till 7 pm today i.e. Recently, the Government has said, "In a historic achievement, India's corona vaccination campaign has crossed the 81 crore milestone (81,73,95,763) today. More than 85.68 lakh (85,68,026) vaccine doses have been administered till 7 pm today.''

In addition, it said, "64.8 per cent of the eligible population has received their first dose, while 22.2 per cent have received their second dose of the vaccine.'' Amidst all this, the Ministry has reported that "with the recovery of 43,938 corona patients in the last 24 hours, the number has increased to a total of 3.27 crore 15 thousand 105. The recovery rate of corona in India is 97.72 per cent.''

Let me tell you all that along with vaccination, corona testing is also being done at a rapid pace across the country. A total of 11 lakh 77 thousand 607 people were tested in the last 24 hours. A total of 55.36 crores (55,36,21,766) corona tests have been conducted in India so far. The weekly positivity rate in the country is said to be below 2.07 per cent, or 3 per cent, for the last 87 days. At the same time, the daily positivity rate was reported at 2.57 per cent. According to reports, the daily positivity rate has remained below 3 per cent for the last 21 days and below 5 per cent for 104 consecutive days.
