Chandrababu Naidu to be Sworn in as Andhra Pradesh CM
N Chandrababu Naidu, leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), will take the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The ceremony is scheduled for 11:27 a.m. near Medha IT Park, opposite Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli, on the outskirts of Vijayawada.

Joining him will be Pawan Kalyan, the actor-turned-politician and chief of Jana Sena, who is expected to be appointed Deputy Chief Minister. High-profile attendees include Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Amit Shah, who arrived in the state last night, visited Naidu to offer his congratulations.

Other notable guests include Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

This will be Naidu's fourth term as Chief Minister. In the recent elections, the TDP won 135 out of 175 Assembly seats, with allies Janasena and BJP securing 21 and 8 seats respectively.

Mohan Majhi to be Sworn in as Odisha CM
Following the ceremony in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha will hold its swearing-in event for the new Chief Minister, Mohan Charan Majhi, at 5 p.m. Majhi, a four-time MLA, was elected leader of the BJP Legislature Party on Tuesday. The 52-year-old is a prominent tribal leader in the state. Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida will be his deputies.

Prime Minister Modi will travel to Bhubaneswar after the Andhra Pradesh event. He is expected to arrive in Bhubaneswar at 2:30 p.m. and will head to Raj Bhavan before attending the evening ceremony.

The BJP has also invited Naveen Patnaik, former Chief Minister and leader of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD). Patnaik's 24-year tenure ended after the BJP's substantial victory, securing 78 seats in the 147-member Assembly compared to BJD's 51 seats.
