According to the data, last month, between March 6 and March 26, more than Rs 53,000 were challaned by the Mumbai Traffic Police for riding without a helmet. Let us inform that in December last year in Mumbai, instead of Rs 200 for talking on the phone due to driving, the rules of deducting a challan of up to Rs 1,000 for the first time and up to Rs 10 thousand for the second time were implemented. Along with this, the Mumbai Traffic Police was asked to collect a fine of Rs 5,000 for illegal means, without a license and driving the vehicle even after the expiry of the license.
