Talking to the media, Ravi Shankar Prasad said, "Nitish Kumar has requested him to make him the PM candidate, while he is unable to manage the state of Bihar. Be it Nitish Kumar or any other leader, he should know that under him the country has progressed a lot under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi." He further said that the country has changed, the people of the country have changed and they trust Prime Minister Modi and his leadership, while Nitish Kumar has not been able to build political credibility.

Ravi Shankar Prasad said, "What has happened to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar? He is not able to handle Bihar, the state is in trouble. There is chaos at his party. Congress is not giving him any lift. Nitish ji, you Deve Gowda or Inder Kumar want to be like Gujarat." Nitish Kumar said yesterday that he had met Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. After the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress party should work further, it should not stop. If the opposition unites, the BJP will be reduced to 100 seats. It should be called Deve Gowda's luck that he had directly reached the post of PM from the post of CM.
