Noida: Diksha Mishra, a resident of Noida in Uttar Pradesh, has been killed in a hotel in Nainital. Imran, who was accused after committing the murder, is said to be absconding and police are on the lookout for him. However, Diksha's family has termed it as love jihad and said Imran had earlier given his name as Rishabh Tiwari. Diksha Mishra, a resident of Horizon Homes Extension in Noida, had gone for a walk with Imran and two other friends in Nainital on August 14, 2021.

After celebrating Diksha's birthday on August 15, everyone partied in the same room and then everyone went to their room. Meanwhile, Imran is alleged to have killed Diksha at night and absconded. Kotwali police have currently registered a case of murder against Imran and a police team led by SI Nitin Bahuguna left for Noida to arrest the accused Imran. Diksha reportedly worked in a good position in a real estate company while Imran was a junker. According to media reports, Diksha's family members have alleged love jihad and said that the accused Imran had given his name as Rishabh Tiwari. Diksha's brother Ankur Mishra has said that when he met the accused Imran, he gave his name as Rishabh Tiwari and friends have also alleged that the accused had also maintained a Facebook ID in the name of Rishabh Tiwari.

Imran, accused of murder, has fled with Diksha's phone. He reportedly called Diksha's 11-year-old daughter and asked for the password of Diksha's phone. He has also taken the necessary documents from Diksha's flat. Diksha was married in 2008, but Diksha was living separately from her husband after her husband was drunk. Diksha also has an 11-year-old daughter. Media reports suggest that Diksha had a tattoo of Imran's name on her chest, and it is likely that Diksha was familiar with Imran's reality, but Diksha's family says that she used to earn a lot by being alone, so Imran may have somehow trapped her. However, the police are investigating the case and the entire truth will be revealed only after completion.
