Pune: The death of seven members of a family has been revealed in Pune, Maharashtra. The police had earlier claimed that the seven had committed suicide, but now the case of murder has come to light. It is being said that the cousins killed seven members of the same house due to old enmity and gave it the form of suicide. In about a week, the bodies of seven persons of the same family were found in the Bhima river in Daund tehsil of Pune district. After the investigation, the police claimed that the girl of the family was in love with a boy from the village and both had disappeared from the village, due to which seven people of the same family committed suicide.
But as the investigation of the case progressed, the matter of murder came out. Investigations by the district rural police revealed that these seven people were killed, it's not a suicide. According to the police, these seven were killed due to hatred. Police investigation revealed that all seven murders were committed by cousins.
A senior police officer said that the four cousins who committed the murder were detained by the police late last night (Tuesday) and they also have a female partner. Police claimed that all the seven men were first fed something by some of their acquaintances and relatives due to mutual enmity, and when they fell unconscious, they threw them into the river. Police have not found any external injury marks on the bodies of the deceased, so they are waiting for the forensic report. In this case, the police have arrested a total of 6 persons, including a woman, while one accused is on the run.
