HYDERABAD: The National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the Congress party's student branch, attempted to lay siege to the Raj Bhavan here early Thursday to protest the Enforcement Directorate's move against party leader Rahul Gandhi.NSUI leaders and workers arrived at Raj Bhavan, the Governor's official house, at 5.30 a.m., surprising the police.

NSUI Telangana unit leaders and workers sat in front of the Raj Bhavan, raising chants against the Narendra Modi government. The police responded by arresting the demonstrators and transporting them to a police station.
