Indore: An incident of protest has come to the fore against Asaduddin Owaisi's party, which is preparing to enter the upcoming elections in MP. Former MLA of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Waris Pathan, who reached Indore, was sooted on Tuesday. Pathan had come to offer Chadar at the Kala Khajrana Dargah (dargah of Nahar Shah Wali Sarkar) in Khajrana, Indore. Due to this, 1 person ran away from the spot after smearing his face. The police have started investigating the matter by registering a case.

The same former MLA of AIMIM from Mumbai and party spokesperson Waris Pathan came into the limelight by making a statement on CAA/NRC. In his speech against CAA, he had said that 15 crore Muslims will outnumber 100 crore Hindus. The police have started the proceedings by registering a case. On this matter, Waris Pathan says that his party is preparing to contest elections from MP. He further told that it is the love of the people, which has been applied on them instead of kajal. At the same time, DCP Sampat Upadhyay said that the blame for carrying out the incident of soot is on a person named Saddam. There has been a complaint about the matter. Investigation is being done.

The same Owaisi's party is also trying its luck in the UP elections. AIMIM has formed a new alliance named 'Bhagidari Parivartan Morcha' for the Uttar Pradesh elections. Apart from Owaisi's party AIMIM, this alliance includes Babu Singh Kushwaha's Jan Adhikar Party and Vaman Meshram's Backward and Minority Communities Employees Federation (BAMCEF). The three leaders had announced this on 22 January by holding a press conference. The election symbol of kite has been fixed for this alliance.
