Bhopal: A sad piece of news is coming out from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, where a theatre artist Ramesh Ahir lost his life by drowning in the swimming pool. The matter is of Thursday morning. The accident took place in the swimming pool of Prakash Taran Pushkar. The swimming pool in which Ramesh Ahir died due to drowning is considered one of the VIP swimming pools of Bhopal. Many IAS, IPS, children of ministers, and MLAs also come here to learn swimming.

Talking to the media, TT Nagar police station in-charge Chain Singh Raghuvanshi said, "Ramesh Ahir had reached the swimming pool at 10 am as usual. Here Ramesh was learning to swim in the shallow part of the swimming pool. Due to this, he suddenly went into the 16 feet deep part of the swimming pool. When Ramesh was drowning in the deep water, this led to the security guards present there pulling him out of the water."

He further said, "In a hurry, Ramesh took Ahir to the nearby JP Hospital. However, on reaching there, the doctors declared him brought dead. After that, the police were informed. Police reached the spot and took the dead body into custody. Have sent it for postmortem. Taran Pushkar has been closed after the incident. Police are currently investigating by registering a case." Theatre artist Ramesh Ahir has performed in many theatres. Recently he played the role of Birsa Munda on Birsa Munda Jayanti. People also appreciated the role of Birsa Munda. Ramesh Ahir has gone to different places of the country to prove his acting skills.
