Islamabad: A madrasa teacher was killed on Tuesday (March 29, 2022) at Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The reason was that a 13-year-old girl dreamed that the teacher had blasphemed. In the dream, she also got the order to kill the teacher. What happened then was, the minor, along with three other women, killed the teacher. Police said the four stabbed the teacher with a sharp weapon and killed her by slitting her neck near the madrasa door. The murder took place in the Anjumabad area.

The three women accused of the murder also taught at the Jamia Islamia Falahul Binat Madarsa. At the same time, the deceased was also a teacher in this madarsa. The murder also involved a 13-year-old girl who had "dreamt of committing blasphemy" by the teacher. A statement issued by the DPO office said that during interrogation, the accused of blasphemy and said that she was a follower of Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil, whom the deceased teacher disliked.

According to the statement, the three accused women revealed that their 13-year-old relative had a dream. In his dream, he received a decree to kill the blaspheming teacher. The statement said that the three women committed the murder on the basis of the dream seen by the minor. A complaint was lodged in this case by Zahid, son of Lal Shah, who belongs to the Mehsud tribe in the South Waziristan district. It said that his 21-year-old niece Safoor Bibi used to teach at Madarsatul Falahul Banat Islamia.  

Zahid told police that the accused 24-year-old Umra Aman (daughter of Din Badshah), Razia Hanfi, 21, (daughter of Allah Noor), Ayesha Nomani, 17, and Shah Noor's 13-year-old daughter, attacked the deceased Safoor Bibi together. When Safoor reached the madrasa at around 7.30 am on Tuesday morning, he was attacked with knives and sharp weapons. Police, who reached the spot, have arrested all the accused. The police have also recovered the weapon used in the crime. He said all the accused are originally from the South Waziristan district but are living in the Anjumabad area of Dera Ismail Khan town. Further action is being taken in the matter.
