Kartarpur corridor Gen Bajwa's brainchild, India will remember this wound forever: Pak minister

A top Pakistani minister on Saturday claimed that the opening of the historic Kartarpur corridor was the brainchild of Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and it will hurt India for ever, a top Pakistani minister claimed on Saturday. This statement contradicts his government's assertion that the idea behind the initiative was that of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In his statement, Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid of Imran Khan Cabinet has said that Kartarpur corridor is the brainchild of General Bajwa and India will bear the brunt of it for a long time. Needless to say that he has indirectly tried to connect the Kartarpur border with the separatist terror in Khalistan.

For your information, let us tell you that Railway Minister Rashid is also known for his anti-India statements earlier and has also made the Imran Khan government angry with his statements. The statement made by him on Saturday is no less controversial. On the one hand, he also called his PM Imran Khan a liar who has himself taken the credit of Kartarpur corridor. His government has also suffered from his statement. Because the PTI government of Pakistan gives full credit to PM Imran Khan for opening the Kartarpur corridor.

On November 9, in a grand event, PM Khan inaugurated the Kartarpur corridor, welcoming many dignitaries invited from India. Then he himself took credit for this corridor. Now the railway minister of his government has tried to deny the PM's claim. Rashid has given the entire credit of Kartarpur corridor to General Bajwa.
